Childcare and Maasai in Tanzania
My Travel Story
Ciao everyone! I am embarking on my first volunteering experience abroad in Tanzania, and I am asking for help in funding this adventure!
I believe everyone deserves opportunities and to be valued, and African children/people are too often neglected and left with no hope.
I want to commit to helping them and endangered populations (like the Maasai people in Tanzania), even just to let them know "you are not left alone".
I will be volunteering from April to June in Arusha, Tanzania, and will be involved in a childcare project first, and a Maasai-centered project after. Costs will cover accommodation, meals and volunteering organization (managed by IVHQ), visa, vaccinations, flights, and insurance for an average cost of 3.500$. Even a small amount can make this easier for me and my family!
A bit about me: I am a young Italian researcher apprentice in neuroscience, currently finishing my Master's at the University of Helsinki. I have been traveling a lot, always helping people as I could volunteering for NGOs and the Italian Red Cross. I am pro-active, adaptable, and really motivated, with the hope of having an impact on people's wellbeing.
Note: another fundraising is active on GoFundMe; if the target sum is surpassed, the rest will be donated to sponsor local kids.
