My Travel Story

In 2014 while attending Pacific College of Health and Science, I had the opportunity to volunteer in Arusha, Tanzania. This was deeply transformative, opening my eyes and heart to another way of serving. My experiences with the people of Arusha, granted me access to a deeper level of beauty and appreciation for the continent. These moments became the foundation to the care and dimensions of healing that are integral to supporting the health of my community. 

In the 7 years since visiting Arusha, I have been passionately serving my community in NYC as a reproductive justice advocate, body worker and mother. It is my desire to return, with a deeper fire in my heart to be of service and stronger skillset to give in a richer way. My daughter's, Yosha, 15, and Enya, 10, will join me, and gain so much from witnessing my work, growth and expansion.
