My Travel Story

by: Francesca Jonica Start Date: Feb 24, 2019 - End Date: May 16, 2019
Dear Sir or Mam:
Hello, my name is Francesca Moore and a current honor student of Ohio University Southern in Ironton, Ohio.  I am a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and a recent graduate of the class of 2018. While attending high school, I completed about 1500 volunteer hours in various community projects which I earned the St. Teresa of Calcutta Award for the most service hours.
Recently, I have been accepted into a great internship program for 6-week via Ohio University & AIESEC (an international non-governmental program providing young people with leadership development, cross-cultural global internship) traveling to Brazil assisting children to learn to speak English. I will be traveling shortly after the spring semester at the end of May and will return the middle of July.
Unfortunately, it will cost about $4000 to participate in the cross-cultural global internship.  My parents and I are planning fundraising events such as bake sales, benefit breakfast or dinner and raffles soon.

Thank you

Francesca J. Moore
