Help my mom to reunite with her long lost father

My mother is almost 50 years old. Now that she is starting to show symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, I am very afraid that she will forget many things. She used to joke with me that if only she could see her father's face one last time.
A distant relative living in the US based on an old photo that my mother posted on social media, in that picture of my mother's parents, said that she had seen a man quite similar to the picture. Her mother's father immigrated to the US during the war in Vietnam and since then there has been no news.
I used any means to verify that information and sadly the other man passed away during the Covid epidemic. I didn't tell my mother for fear that it was her real lost father, which might come as a shock to her. I found every reason to avoid going to America with her.
However, in recent years she kept forgetting errands and was diagnosed with symptoms of Alzheimer's disease. So I want to take the opportunity before she forgets everything, I want to take her to America but in recent years I have not made much money because of Covid.
I implore everyone to help me with a part of the money to fulfill my mother's wish before she forgets everything.
