My Travel Story

In July 2018, I will depart for a two-week trip to Belize in partnership with Therapy Abroad. Grouped with other undergraduate students studying communication sciences and disorders, I will learn from certified clinicians, gain hands-on experience outside of the classroom, and develop cricital observation skills in new and challenging environments. I couldn't be more excited for this chance to immerse myself in another culture while helping to give local communities essential services such as speech and language screenings, evaluations and intervention. This trip will provide an incredible opportunity to grow both as a future speech-language pathologist and as a global citizen.
