I am Shallet Tende  from kenya and I'm very much looking forward to attending University. my family has unfortunately experienced setback in our financial situation due to Corona virus pandemic.

The value of education is something that I have always been passionate about from a very young age. Neither of my parents had an opportunity to attend university, and faced many struggles in their professional lives as of this. They made a commitment to do everything within their power to motivate me to love learning and understand the importance of hard work and dedication. They have both sacrificed a lot just to see me through school and I have been able to devote time to academic accomplishment even though money has always been an issue. 

Additionally, I have also been active in my community volunteering at beach clean ups, church feeding program during the holidays and charity walks.

Getting this support will help me achieve my dreams and will enable me to take care of my family financially in the future. I will continue to apply the same diligence to my university studies as I have to this point, making education my top priority. Thank you in advance for your help.
