My Travel Story

Hi! I’m Pius. I truly believe education can change lives. I come from a small village in Kenya, . A lot of kids there face big challenges when it comes to getting a basic education. Growing up in a place like this, I understand how tough it is to escape poverty without even the chance to go to school.

Last time I visited home, it broke my heart seeing so many bright kids without proper learning materials. Many schools don’t have the basics— books, pencils, & safe places to learn. What’s even tougher is that these kids often walk for miles in rough conditions, only to find crowded classrooms with hardly anything for them.

But you know what? The spirit of these kids is still strong. They smile, dream big, and keep hope alive. That’s what pushed me to take action.

My MissionI’m working on raising $5,000. This money will help get essential learning materials for children in three schools in Karamoja. With these funds, we’ll buy books, stationery, & even bicycles to make their long journey to school a bit easier. Plus, we’ll use some of the money to fix up one of the crumbling school buildings so these kids have a safe place to learn and grow.
