Caroline's Study Abroad Trip: Literary London!
My Travel Story
During the course of the program, called Literary London, I will be:
- traveling to England and living in Central London for six weeks, sharing a flat with my classmates.
- studying English Literature while also touring sites such as West Minster Abbey, the British Museum, Shakespeare's Globe, the National Gallery, the British Library, the London Eye, and more.
The program fees include:
- my lodging as well as some of my meals
- tickets to see theater performances
- tickets to special museum exhibits
- day trips to Bath, Hampton Court Palace, Greenwich, Oxford, and historical Stratford
The funds raised will support me in paying for the trip; all funds raised will be used to cover air fare, lodging, meals, tuition, emergencies, and other program fees. Your support is instrumental in allowing this opportunity to take place.
I have always had wanderlust and could only dream of traveling to foreign countries. I have always wanted to immerse myself in the different cultures and learn more about the huge, dynamic world we live in. I really did not want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to study overseas, befriend the locals as well as my fellow English majors, and sightsee in such a beautiful city!
