My Travel Story

Going on this academic tour will be a learning experience. A preparation for all my future aspirations. The things I learn on this trip will have great impact on how I see the world and give a new perspective. I will show my peers that if you work hard enough you can achieve what you want to achieve. You background does not define who you are. I am very passionate about travel having gone out of my way to find every nook and cranny of my own country and finding that absolutely exhilarating having been called too young all of my 15 years of life. I chose this destination because of one item on the iterenary: seeing where Albert Einstein used to spend his time this seems to stand out from all the other things.Being a black girl from the township of Soweto makes you carry a lot of stereotypes and the fact that you not gonna make being a very eminent stereotype. This is very meaningful to me because of my single mother. And having been the only child in my entire family to be chosen for such a privilege makes it extra special.
