My Travel Story

Volunteering with animals in Africa has been my dream since childhood...but when I found out that it is quite expensive to join a program, I could not go. 
Luckily, I was able to graduate from environmental engineer and have a profesisonall carreer that nowadays allows to be to be able to plan this trip again. 
Even thouhg I have studied something related to sustainability and protecting the environment, I am struggling to balance what I know my purpose in life is and be able to pay my bills and live comfortably. Unfortunately, working with conservation in not that valued in the world nowadays. So last year, with the pandemic I found myself lost in life, with no hobbies or motivation. So I decided to gather all my savings and reactivate this dream to go to Africa and help conservation centers that take care of animals in need. 
After thorough research, I was able to find an amazing and ethical program in Zimbabwe that looks after mainly baby animals and puts a lot of effort in reintegrating them into the wildlife, when possible. When I found them, everything made sense again. I just go so excited to look at the pictures and learn more about them and knew I had to be there. 
Besides fulfiling my life dream, this trip will help me find my path in life, understand where I need to go and be.
This trip will be for three weeks in the Chipangali Center in Zimbabwe  :)
