My Travel Story

I never had the opportunity before now to travel...always too busy with family, commitment, everyday life and limited resources. Recently, my whole life has dramatically changed since the passing of my husband and two dogs. I've thrown myself into my educational goals as a way of distracting myself from the profound grief I am currently experiencing. I see the opportunity of this study abroad trip as the capstone to my college studies, that is both a learning experience and a reward for all my hard work. I have learned that life is temporary and uncertain, and turning down amazing opportunities for self-growth is no longer an option I am fine with. I still do not have all the money I need to internationally travel, but now I am going on faith that I will have enough when the time comes. I am saying 'yes' to my future and to all the possibilities it may bring.
