First, thank you for taking the time to take a look at my campaign!
My name is Kara Maxwell, and I am a college student studying Business Management & Administration and Spanish Language/Literature at Georgia Southern University. I plan to complete my degrees of a Bachelor of Business Administration and my Bachelor of Arts within the coming year (2020), and would love for the opportunity to expand my cultural knowledge while completing my degree.

I have always wanted to complete my Spanish degree abroad, and I have finally found the perfect program to do so! I would be spending 12 weeks studying at the Elebaires School in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to not only expand my education of Spanish-speaking cultures, but to perfect my ability to speak the language. I chose this location because of the rich culture and opportunity, and this program is a perfect fit for me. This opportunity would not only further my future career opportunities, but allow me to teach/speak Spanish in my own household, and to educate my future children in the language.

However, In order to do this, I need your help!!

My program (through Georgia Southern's independent study abroad program) is going to cost between $6,000-$8,000 to complete. I am currently working a wonderful job while going to school full-time, so that I can hopefully make this dream a reality. But I could definitely use all the help I can get!!

I, again, thank you for taking the time to read my story, and would appreciate any help you can provide!! THANK YOU!

COVID-19 UPDATE: POSTPONED But NOT CANCELLED
    Hello Everyone!
As you probably can assume, these last few months have definitely thrown some curve balls in my plans, so I wanted to give everyone an update!
Due to COVID-19, I have decided to post pone my departure for my independent study abroad trip with Elebaires to tentatively January instead of July. I am hoping to use this time to raise more funds and better prepare myself for any further curve balls!
I hope all of you and your families are staying safe in the pandemic, and wish you all the best!
