My Travel Story

by: Mohd Firdaus Izran Abdullah Start Date: Sep 7, 2023 - End Date: Mar 6, 2024
My name is Mohd Firdaus Izran Bin Abdullah, I come from Sibu, Sarawak, and work as a civil servant in a uniformed unit. I have served for about 17 years. I have a wife and 3 children, 2 boys and a girl. I live with my family. simple and happy. we will return to Sarawak once a year using the plane ticket warrant provided by the government. we only provide money for expenses:
1. Hotel: rm 500 for 2 nights
2. Food and drink: RM 400 for 5 people
3. Express boat fare: Rm 300 for 5 people (round trip)
4. Taxi fare: RM 200 for 5 people (round trip from the airport to Sibu city)
Daily needs in the village that are ready to buy are worth rm 400 for a week. There should be approximately Rm 2000 for our family's expenses to return to Sarawak, Malaysia. This cost does not include the plane fare because the government provided it when I was serving in a uniformed unit. Now I no longer have the privilege to use the plane ticket warrant, the last time I returned to Sarawak in 2017 when I was still serving in a uniformed unit. It's been 5 years now that I and my family have not returned to Sarawak to visit my beloved mother and father. I miss them very much.

I have served in this uniformed unit for 17 years and have served in 3 states, namely Johor, Selangor and Tengganu, Malaysia. the various courses I participated in, and the various successes I achieved.

In 2017, in Terengganu. This was the last place I worked as a civil servant. I was betrayed by my own superiors. I along with 2 other colleagues were accused of wrongdoing and were suspended from work for a year and finally expelled work. I think my sacrifices on the team all this time have not been appreciated and appreciated. The department does not care about my source of income, about my dependents, about the feelings of my wife and children, about my family. I was treated cruelly, forced to bear the burden of debt and caused me not to be able to return to Sarawak.

Here I really need contributions from noble and kind people.
The amount I need may be too much, but I really hope for your contribution to continue life and start a new life with my family, and return to Sarawak.

By telling a little about my background and the misfortune that befell me, I beg for the mercy and sympathy of noble and kind people to help me. Even if it's RM 10 or RM 20 your money is very valuable to me. Only God can reward your good conscience. Once we do good to others, God will reward us tenfold. And finally, I would like to say a million thanks to those who are willing to donate to ease my burden. Thank you.
