Hello, my name is Natalie and I am a Veterinary Nursing Student from Northern Ireland. I have decided to pursue my passion for wildlife and volunteer in South Africa working in the veterinary field for the preservation and conservation of South Africa's endangered species and wildlife.

I will be working hard alongside the veterinarian Dr Peter Rogers to make real, valuable contributions to the conservation of Africa's wildlife and habitats. I hope to make a real impact. I will be assisting with medical work on sick and injured animals, disease control, rehabilitation centres, providing free veterinary care to local communities and hand rearing of orphaned animals.

Common species include endangered and rare antelope, southern African antelope, buffalo, giraffe, rhino and occasionally iconic species such as lion, elephant and leopard.

I express my utmost gratitute for any contributions to this cause.

"For in the end, we will conserve only what we love,
we will love only what we understand,
we will understand only what we are taught."
