My Travel Story

I am really excited to be have the opportunity to head to Bali in September to volunteer for four weeks, after successfully being accepted earlier this year! I have always wanted to visit this amazing place, so to be able to do that while providing any help I can over there to the community is a dream. After studying Psychology and Maths at the University of Liverpool for the past 3 years, I am confident that Psychology in particular is the path I would like to pursue in future, and this experience in Bali is the perfect opportunity to gain invaluable experience before I decide exactly which area I am passionate about. Getting to put 3 years of hard work into practice is such a perfect way to end what has been an amazing time in Liverpool, and I cannot wait to get out there and meet as many new people as I can and hopefully provide a significant help to those who need it. I am a huge people person and absolutely love interacting with people from all walks of life on a regular basis, which is why I am so excited for this new adventure.
While out there, I will be working on various projects daily, involving teaching English to vulnerable adults and children, and also working on psychiatric wards with those suffering with mental illnesses. No two days will be the same, and although I know it'll be extremely physically and mentally challenging, it is going to be a once in a lifetime experience which is invaluable.
Because of the voluntary nature of the trip, it is solely funded by ourselves as volunteers, so I am running the Lichfield 10k in September in hope of getting some lovely people to sponsor me! I would be so grateful for any donation,no matter how big or small to help me on my way, and if anyone would like to know any more about what I am doing or even get involved themselves, please feel free to message me!
