My Travel Story

Ever since i was a little kid I had this dream. I wanted to help wild animals who suffer or are in the need of any help. 
I could picture myself as a volunteer that makes a difference to our wildlife. I know that small changes can turn into something bigger and my parents always told me that no one can change everything but everyone can change something. I want to start there. 
Animals have always been something that i have kept close to my heart. I grew up with animals and two of our dogs were stray dogs from Poland. It felt really good to help the way we could by adopting older dogs and that inspired me to start my own "campaign" when I was around five or six years old. I cut out every picture i could find of animals and glued them to multiple papers. When they were finished i walked up to my family,relatives and friends and asked them to sign that they would agree to help wild animals. I don't really know how much of it stuck but at least i was committed to my little project.
As a got older, the thought of helping never left my mind. Even though I did not have much money, I helped by donating to organistions as often as i could. It would be an amazing experience to go on a volunteer trip now that I am out of school and are able to do it. The dream little me have could come true and that would mean everything to me, and I know it would mean the world to her. 

My destination is not yet decided. What is important for me about the location is that i want to see something that I can not see here in Sweden. I want to see different animals. The " Big-5" reserve located in South Africa sounds like an amazing place to be. So does Austarlia with their unique wildlife. If i could i would go everywhere but I have to start with one. 

I want to be able to look back at my life knowing that I followed my dream and made a difference.
