My Travel Story

I've always dreamed of going to Alaska and I have wonderful opportunity to work there this summer. However while this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I have barely been making ends meet as is. I've been penny pinching for months. I got on food stamps. I'm a few hundred dollars short while I'm up there for my bills (car payment, insurance, and rent for my apartment). I have the opportunity to help kids find their voice and their joy in nature. I'm so excited. This is the first step in living and working outdoors for peoples development in theirselves as well as land stewardship. Without experiencing nature, how will the future generations want to save it?  I had the opportunity as a child to love nature, to see how nature is beautiful in its imperfections and I too am nature therefore I am beautiful in my imperfections. I want to share that opportunity with young adults.
