Hello everyone!
My name is Silke Roymans, I am a third-year medical student from Belgium.
In the summer of 2025, I will be part of a medical mission to Arusha in Tanzania. During 3 weeks of my
summer leave, I will actively provide assistance at a local medical centre, as well as participate in Medical
Outreach campaigns in local rural villages. During my visit to these villages, I will provide basic medical care
and free medical support to people in their homes, ensuring assistance reaches those for whom it is not always available. This project contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #3: Good Health and Wellbeing. Now more than ever, we need to improve access to free health care and health education around the world to achieve an acceptable standard of living and well-being for everyone.
