Hey y'all! I'm Susan, a sophomore at the Leadership Academy of Utah. I'm thrilled to share that I have the incredible opportunity to embark on a life-changing adventure in Mongolia this July. During this journey, I'll be focusing on honing my leadership skills, learning to overcome challenges, and evolving into a better version of myself.

The program includes immersive experiences, such as self-defense training and archery, designed to equip me with valuable skills. One of the highlights will be spending three days horseback riding through the vast Mongolian steppe. Living with local families will provide me with a deep understanding of Mongolian culture, fostering a greater appreciation for diversity.

This marks my first solo travel abroad, and I'm determined to fund this experience by May. To achieve this goal, I've taken on two part-time jobs managing social media. Additionally, I successfully organized and served meals to nearly 200 people at a community event—a feat I plan to repeat this spring.
