My Travel Story

I have been provided with an amazing opportunity to travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina for an intensive Spanish language program through CISabroad. I am so excited for this trip for several reasons.
The first reason is simple: I love to travel. My grandpa used to say that traveling was the best way to gain wisdom about the world. Because of this, my whole family loves to travel. However, I have never been outside of North America. I'm ecstatic to travel to a different continent.
Second, for as long as I can remember, I have been enamored with the Spanish language. I took two years of Spanish in high school and loved it. I want to expand my knowledge and, hopefully, be fluent some day. The dialect of Buenos Aires is known for it's rigour and speed. I figure that if I can learn Buenos Aires Spanish, I can learn any other dialect.
Also, besides the astounding beauty, Argentina has the highest number of psychologists per capita than any other country and over half of them are located in Buenos Aires. For those of you that don't know, one of my two majors is Psychology. I think it would be so inspirational to be submerged in a culture that is so accepting of mental health care.
I know this is an experience of a lifetime and I would be forever thankful to anyone that helped me achieve this dream.
