Allow me to introduce you to Dunia, an extraordinary woman who has dedicated more than 30 years of her life to working with children with disabilities in Cuba. Despite facing extreme poverty, Dunia's unwavering determination and compassion have helped her overcome countless obstacles to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

However, there is one dream that has eluded Dunia for far too long. Her son, whom she raised with love and sacrifice, met and fell in love with an Australian woman. They moved to Australia, starting a new chapter in their lives. Now, Dunia longs to see her son and her two-year-old grandson, Asher, who holds a special place in her heart.

Asher, like his Cuban grandmother, possesses a unique birthmark, symbolising the unbreakable bond they share. Despite the distance, Asher and Dunia have managed to maintain a strong connection through video calls, but nothing can replace the joy of being physically present and cherishing precious moments together.

Dunia's dream is not only to see her family in Australia but also to gain a deeper understanding of their lives, ensuring they are happy and well. She yearns to immerse herself in her grandson's world, sharing her rich cultural heritage, language, and the pride of their shared heritage. This journey would not only be a reunion of love but also an opportunity for Asher to learn about his roots, fostering a sense of identity and belonging.
