Hi, my name is Jeff Li, and currently, I am a freshman studying finance at Arizona State University and part of Barrett, the honors program.
My goal after graduation is to work towards becoming a personal financial advisor or starting my own business that focuses on giving back and providing a service for others. 
As a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, I applied to be an intern for finance in Hong Kong through the Absolute Internship Program and was selected to participate after submitting an application and was selected to go after review of my application and interview.
Absolute Internship is a program that works with world-class companies to provide life-changing opportunities and aims to develop both the personal and professional skill sets of the interns. This opportunity will push me to be comfortable working out of my comfort zone, experience the culture I was born in but never got to fully experience, and network with professionals and other interns in my field. 
This opportunity is meaningful and I am passionate about this project because the skill sets that I will learn and obtain after will be extremely beneficial for my future career and education and I will be applying the skill sets into new opportunities that arise and participate in.
