My Travel Story

This is my first Studies Abroad trip and I feel that it opens up your way of thinking, it will intorduce me to new cultures and ideas I can relate to in my future development and to inspire others to travel abroad. I want to give back to the enviiroment and learn to apprciate what is given to humanity from the earth rather than what we take from it. I chose this as my first trip because it also gives me credit for the Scientific Reasoning-Laboratory requirement.  We will study the beauty of the Hawaiin Islands from its culture to its diverse animal and plant populations. We will examine various novel habitats and species and how they interact with each other and humans. We will also look at the impacts of humans from things like development, tourism, spear fishing, and more. We will collect data and help conservation and restoration work during our time there.
