Ghana Nursing Mission Trip
My Travel Story
My name is Clara Symington, a senior nursing major at Franciscan University. I am going on a mission trip with Volunteer International HQ to serve the people of Ghana, Africa. This mission will utilize my years of nursing school to meet the medical needs of those in need. I have always had a passion for nursing, and nothing brings me more joy than walking alongside my patients to recovery. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity to serve Christ's people and bring modern medicine to their part of the world. A group of students from my small college in Ohio will be traveling to Ghana and stationed in whatever village needs us the most. We will be offering ourselves and our gifts, so that whatever is needed, we can do our best to provide. I have family members who have done various mission work in Africa, and I am passionate about carrying on the legacy! This will not only help the people of Ghana but will also provide me with fulfillment in using my gifts to serve God! Thank you!
