Journey Back Home
I have connected with many people who helped me become a better person. I have formed friendships that will last a life time with some of the other GAPP students.
When I was in Germany, I found myself enchanted by the beauty of the buildings, the rich landscapes, and the people who occupy the lovely country. At the end of my time in Germany, I was saddened. I had left a large piece of my heart in that country.
That is why I decided to fundraise for a chance to go back to the country that I hope to call home one day. I have been preparing for this since I was 10. I have been in German class for five years and can speak a basic fluency, and I only hope to get even better and improve my skills upon return to Germany.
I am dedicated to this place, and I only wish to return to further my second language, connect with those I have formed friendships with, and fall deeper in love with the Country that has stolen a piece of me.
