My 15 year-old nephew, John, is battling bone cancer. He will undergo 10 weeks of chemotherapy before his doctors will try to remove the tumor from his knee. During this time, his parents will be missing work in order to care for him. They will also be frequently traveling back and forth from CHOP in Philadelphia. They could use help with gas, tolls, food, and lost wages.
