My Travel Story

Hi,

I am an international student in Ontario, Canada. Currently, I am doing my second last semester. I came here in December 2022 for the January intake of 2023. My course will end in the month of August 2024. I am from a lower middle class family. I came here with the support of an education loan. We have only 10 cents of land in our home country. So, the bank did not give the money to complete my course. They gave only for one year tuition fees(2 semesters). So, I was supposed to pay the remaining tuition fees. I was thinking that, after arrive Canada, I can do a part-time job and I will be able to pay my fees. But, I did not have any idea about the place I have arrived before. After I arrived Canada, I have applied for a lot of jobs both online and offline. But, I did not get any calls from anywhere. And after 7 months, I got a job in a warehouse which is 65 kilometers away from the place I am living. It was a contract job for only 3 months. After I got the job, I have saved the money and paid the one more semester's fees. I was really thankful to the Lord for giving the job at that time, because If I was not able to pay the amount, the college will withdraw the course and I will not be able to complete the course. So, That's how I have enrolled to the semester I am doing now. My course duration is 5 semesters. 

After that job, I again started applying for jobs and I applied all the shops in this city again and again. In the month of December 2023, the GIC amount (the money put in bank account before come to Canada for living expenses. They were giving us each month for 1 year) was also stopped. So, currently I am not able to pay my fees for my next semester, and I am not even able to pay my rent and groceries. From the half of 2023, until now, I am not even eating everyday. I am not able to ask my parents because they don't have anything in their hands. Whatever they had is given to me for studying here. That is the current situation I am facing. I don't know how to recover from this. If I am not able to pay my next semester, I will be withdrawed from the college and I will no longer be able to stay in Canada and I will lost everything and  I will be a homeless.
