My Travel Story
More than 9,000 children have been injured in the Gaza Strip, leaving many grappling with the loss of an arm or a leg. Hospitals are overwhelmed with children and their parents, all bearing “the ghastly wounds of war”, Mr. Elder said. He stressed that while in the Strip he encountered many young amputees. Around 1,000 children in Gaza have lost one or both their legs, he said

My name is Danielo Baas, founder of a newly established non-profit organization in it's startup phase, together with our American partner we are dedicated to providing essential medical aid and support to children affected by the conflict in Gaza. Our primary focus is on delivering high-quality 3D-printed below the knee prosthetics and comprehensive care to those who have suffered limb loss.
We need your support to make vital trips to Amman and San Diego to prepare, discuss, and present our plans to the UN and key partners. These journeys are crucial for ensuring our vision of providing high-quality prosthetics and rebuilding the healthcare system in Gaza becomes a reality.
Traveling to Amman allows us to directly engage with the UN and other influential organizations, ensuring our innovative approaches are understood, supported, and implemented. The trip to San Diego is essential for collaboration with our key partner in prosthetic development, to finalize the technical and logistical details of the prosthetics and training programs. These trips are not just about meetings—they're about building a future where children in Gaza have access to essential medical care and a chance at a better life.
Each trip involves meticulous planning, critical meetings, and the presentation of our comprehensive healthcare improvement plans to key decision-makers.
We are already in close contacts with the WHO docters and medical staff on the ground in Gaza to reseach, discuss and plan together for a backed by professionals plan.
Your contribution will cover travel expenses, accommodation, and logistical costs, enabling our dedicated team to secure the necessary support and partnerships for our mission.

Amman Trip: €4,800
Includes flights, accommodation, local transportation, meals, meeting costs, and contingencies.
San Diego Trip: €7,100
Includes flights, accommodation, local transportation, meals, meeting costs, and contingencies.
Logistical Costs: €3,000
Covers additional logistical needs for both trips.
