I am applying to universities worldwide, but the path is riddled with obstacles. Many universities with no application fees don’t offer scholarships, and the ones that do require expensive application fees and a CIS profile—costs that I simply cannot afford. This is my only shot at escaping this life. I know that with a college degree, I will have the opportunity to change not only my own future but the future of my family and community.
