My Travel Story

Hello. My name is Sigrid Salucop and Roman Kolesnichenko also says Привет which is “Hello” in Russian. Roman and I are polar opposites but we decided to write a low-budget masterpiece together because we believe in this project and we have nothing else to do. 

We have tried for grants. They rejected us but we have stopped crying and now we are here. 

There are so many books about ancient Egypt and ours will probably not differ that much. The good news is, that we are not your boring professors back in university. We are much worse but at least, you will get some much-needed sleep once you read our book. 

Here is a little secret. We were rejected for a grant because the academe often shies away from curiosity projects. We know what you are thinking. UFOs?! Possibly. A civilisation more ancient than the time of the Pharaohs? Maybe. The mummy returns? Hopefully not.

Other teams are doing the same research but ours will be markedly different - it will be less sexy but potentially more interesting than the last work meeting that Roman had to attend.
