My Travel Story

Dear Ma’am/ Sir,
I am Spandana an enthusiastic law student interested in global issues, International laws and relations. I am currently pursuing 4th year at Alliance University Bangalore, Karnataka. I am very passionate to work in a globally competitive environment on the challenging assignments in the field of law and to bring about reforms for the welfare of the society.

I have recently represented India as a youth delegate at the prestigious South Asian Youth Summit 2017 on the theme ‘Creating a Sustainable Future: Empowering Youth with Sustainable Future’ organised by International Youth Committee at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. I was selected as the core committee member to draft the “Bhubaneswar Youth Declaration 2017’’ which addressed the universal problems faced by the youth in the SAARC nations.

I have also been a part of Student Delegation Programme to U.K organised by Indian National Bar Association where I had an opportunity to interact and share my opinion regarding Brexit,Opening of Indian legal market to the foreign law firms and India-U.K Diplomatic relations with the eminent personalities at the UK Parliament,Law society of England and Wales, High commission of India, U.K and Youth and Rule  of law division, Commonwealth. These interaction sessions helped me to critically analyze the Indo-U.K relationship and the opportunities that young lawyers at our country will avail by the entry of the Foreign law firms into the Indian legal market.

I actively take part in Intra college debates, group discussions, national seminars and also participated in the Prestigious Paras Diwan International Moot Court Competition organised by UPES Dehradun.

I posses a good interpersonal, analytical, logical reasoning and communicative proficiency skills and I  love to implement these skills in the real world to make a positive impact on the society. I am an avid reader and I spend my spare time reading different genre of books.

I currently hold the post of Leadership Associate at Civic Concepts International an organisation headquartered at Prague, which has a mission of shaping the youth in terms of leadership skills, promote cross cultural understanding and cultivate ethical responsibility which helps them in over all development.   I am highly adaptable and I love to work with the people from diverse  culture. Working at CCI has been one of my best professional experience so far where I had an opportunity  to work with people from different culture , have a boarder perspective of the world.

I also hold the post of Executive member of the Communication team at Legal Desire which is a legal media house.

I am also a seed member (core member) at Nurture Nature, a budding  NGO based at Punjab which works for environment protection and attaining SDG environment goals of United Nations.

I have also held the post of Student Reporter at the Indian National Bar Association which included the responsibility of writing blogs relating to trending global and national issues.
Apart from all the organisational experience and accomplishments I also hold a good academic record at the law school.
 Being a part of International Youth Leadership Conference which is to be held at Prague will help to sharpen my leadership, analytical, interpersonal and logical skills and also build a strong network with the eminent professionals which will help in my professional and personal development. I am sure I can implement these skills to contribute immensely to make a positive impact on the society.
Being a student its very hard to afford it hence I am launcing this campaign. I hope you find me to be a deserving candidate.
