My Travel Story

I am a single mom of 5 children.
I work and take care of my children, I live a very busy life. I do not even have a boyfriend, no drug or alcohol problems, no welfare either. 

My dad is a veteran and I and the only child and I live in Montgomery Alabama and I am here because my ex-husband who was abusive, left us after I couldn't take it anymore and I finally got the courage to call the police.
I'm not asking for a trip to Jamaica or to the beach my dad is old and he's in a nursing home, the last time that I got to see him in 2021 is when he had about five strokes, my kids couldn't go to the hospital to visit him cuz of covid so he has yet to meet my two youngest children. 

My two oldest children have not seen their papa since they were six and seven years old. 

I just want to see my dad because people are saying that he's getting really bad, sometimes he forgets who I am when I call, my dad also has HIV and he's been sick a lot. 

I'm not asking for a first class ticket ideally I like to rent a van, I need something that sits at least seven people. Three of my children have autism spectrum disorder so I need space... My van has 300,000 miles on it. And I drive it at least 500 miles a week because I have 14 appointments and some of my kids appointments are 2 hours away. 
I would want to stay in a hotel with the kitchen so I can cook... Because I don't need enough money to rent a van gas I'd budget food and hotel. 

I know so many people need so many other things... But I have nobody down here. And I feel like I'm breaking down I just want to see my dad because he always gives me hope and tells me what a good job I do and how proud he is of me. I want my children to say they met their granddad at least one time. On the way up I probably need to stop a couple times and stay the night at the hotel.  
People say thatclosed mouths don't get fed.

And I'm giving this a shot. 

I'm sorry that I couldn't write some fancy letter but I'm so short on time I don't get a minute to myself some days I don't even get a drink of water until 8:00 at night.

If I was by some way to get funded for this trip, if I had anything left over I would find somebody like me and donate to their trip too. 

I am a good person, I'm not beautiful and smart , but I have a good heart. I take care of my kids the best that I can and I go without for them. But I am at the end of my rope with not seeing any of my family. I have my own health issues and I just push through it.

I hope anybody reading this can see that I just need my dad. I feel like he won't be around much longer. ..
