African Adventures is a social enterprise who is dedicated to improve lives within Afrcia. They work with 25 community educational projects in developing areas of Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar. They impact lives of 20,000 children who attend.

On the 17th of October 2020 a group of volunteers will be going out to Ghana for 10  days to keep improving lives of those in the community. We will be doing this by building new school along with renovating older school. We will also be volunteering in teaching aswell as sport coaching to help the children have the best time at school and learn new things.

This will impact my education as it will give me an understanding of other countries and how they live compared to us on things we take for granted. The difference we will make to the community is going into the local schools and educating lives of children in  Ghana and to try and let them experience different things. I am passionate about this project because I believe that the help I can offer will have a good impact on the children and hopefully it will make a difference in their lives and an experience they will remember. I decided on Ghana as my destination because that is where African Adventures are going in October 2020 and I would like to be apart of it to help impact lives of children in Ghana. This volunteering trip is meaningful to me because I would learn more about myself and how other people live and how they are not as privileged as we are and hopefully I can give something back to the community we are doing our volunteer work in.
