My Travel Story

by: Krishna Neupane Start Date: Oct 7, 2025 - End Date: Feb 6, 2026
Hello! My name is [Your Name], and I’m embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to the Eastern world to explore and document the rich cultural heritage, traditions, and philosophies that have shaped some of the world’s oldest civilizations.

This research trip is not just about travel—it’s about connection, preservation, and understanding. From the ancient temples of India and the tea ceremonies of Japan, to the oral storytelling traditions of rural China and the spiritual rituals of Southeast Asia, I aim to immerse myself deeply in the diverse cultural landscapes of the East.

Why this matters:
In an age of rapid globalization, many indigenous traditions, languages, and practices are at risk of being lost. My goal is to respectfully study and share these living traditions through writing, photography, interviews, and multimedia storytelling—ensuring that these cultural gems are not only remembered but honored and appreciated by future generations.

How your support helps:

Funds raised will directly support:

Travel and local transportation
Lodging and meals during field research
Translators and cultural liaisons
Research materials and documentation tools (camera, audio recorder, etc.)
Publication and sharing of findings (book, blog, or digital archive)

This project is a passion rooted in curiosity, respect, and a deep desire to build cultural bridges through storytelling. By supporting this campaign, you become part of a global effort to preserve and celebrate the beauty of human diversity.
