My Travel Story

I am so thankful to be able to participate in the African Adventure volunteer trip this October, 2020. I aim to fundraise the entire cost of this trip through donations, fundraising events in and outside of school along with other ideas that develop over the next few weeks.
I, along with a small number of students from my school, will be traveling to one of the impoverished areas in Ghana, for a period of 9 days. I will be volunteering between teaching English to the children, doing various sports activities with them and also splitting my time with the making of bricks and constructing additional classrooms.
I have been so fortunate to receive education, and I would love to be able to give something back to those who truly crave what so many of us take for granted, basic education.
