My Travel Story

Hey, Martha here.
My friend and I are trying to raise money to fund our travel, accommodation and living expences, to volunteer to work at an animal orphanage in Africa for 2 weeks. Not only will the money raised, fund my trip but it will also be put towards food and medication for the animals.
All money will go to the company that runs the orphanage and we will be putting 100% effort into helping orphaned animals survive without their parents, while still keeping their natural instincts so one day they might be released back into the wild.
We will be taking part in fun-runs, obstacle courses and car washes and anything else we can think of to raise the money but we can't raise it all without your help.
This is an important cause to me as the year after this trip I will be doing a zoology degree at university and this will be amazing hands on work experience that will also allow me to work with young animals, which is something I've wanted to do since I was a child. It is also important to me as without volunteers and the conservation scheme itself, these animals would have next to no chance in the wild and I want to do anything I can to save their lives.
