My Travel Story

Adrian has exhibited an incredible curiosity & love of animals! He shows it daily with his pets at home, his exploration of wildlife and most recently, his animal colorings! 

The idea of this fundraiser came about from my commitment to expose Adrian to life in a non-conventional way so that his mind and imagination would not be confined to sitting in a chair, writing on a board and taking tests that offered no assurance of true self-development, life exposure and enrichment! For this reason, I chose not to enroll Adrian in the traditional school setting. I have been diligently cultivating Adrian's skills & abilities to explore, imagine, think critically, create, problem-solve, be self-confident and have respect for all of life since before his birth! This has been a very intentional endeavor on my part, feeling a deep nudging to give him daily real-life interaction that will cultivate his curiosity and wonder! I'm creating a platform for Adrian to jump into the world with a knowing that life has so much to offer and when we take the time to explore it we discover endless possibilities! I want to inspire him to continue to explore, with passion, the infinite opportunities for learning and growth! Recognizing that this life-long endeavor will require a great community effort, I'm reaching out to the universe by such means as this, to garner support in bringing forth this new way of teaching & empowering our children for generations to come!  

We would be so grateful for your help in further inspiring his creativity & supporting his heart's interest with a STATE-TO-STATE TOUR OF WILDLIFE!

In each state, we will visit places that tell of the region's wildlife and do activities that involve interacting with nature (i.e. state parks, zoos, aquariums, museums, boat tours, safaris, discovery trails, etc.)

Thank you for your contribution! You are part of an incredible community that is helping to inspire Adrian to be his very best! With your support, Adrian will be able to travel the country - & maybe one day the world - living out his passion for connecting with all of life's creatures. When we operate from our hearts, extraordinary things are achieved & the world is made better because of it - new cures are discovered, new techniques are developed, new horizons are explored...lives are forever changed! For example, Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, Mister Rodgers, Jim Henson, J.K. Rowling, Iyanla Vanzant, just to name a few!

As a college graduate with nearly a decade of experience in the traditional workforce, I found myself continually feeling unfulfilled and uninspired. It wasn't long after I had Adrian that I decided to pursue my own dreams. Making some tough choices, I set out to make the most of my days and let my heart guide my actions, no more blindly going about life trying to fit into a mold. Though I'm just now finding my path to true discovery, I can't imagine not providing this awareness to my son right from the start! It hasn't been enough for me to just say to my son, 'Follow your dreams', I want to show him it really can be accomplished!  

And I'm asking for your involvement! Whether your contribution be monetary or unconventional gifts (such as zoo tickets, museum passes, airfare, bus tickets, etc. ) - with your own imagination, I'm inviting you to share your ideas & resources that will bring depth to Adrian's experiences!
