My Travel Story

A couple of my kids are grown already and the rest are just a year or less away from that. I already feel as if I have run out of time or am about to when it comes to a family vacation. Our heritage and culture mean a lot to us and so every opportunity that arises for us to engage in our community and with our people we try to seize that moment while at the same time building lasting memories to look back on as a family. One of my sons favorite pow wows is happening this weekend in Seattle, WA and he really wants us to go as well as my youngest daughter who is 16. As they grow older and start living their life seperate from me I'm finding it very difficult to coordinate times for a family vacation. This very rare opportunity for us to build some more memories together came at a time that I have no money to go. I don't want to miss out since I don't know when this will happen again. So reaching out to see if there's any blessings to help us out.
