My Travel Story

My name is Matt Nordsell and as you could see from the title, I will be moving to Japan where I will become a long term missionary there doing evangelism.  GOD has placed Japan on my heart to reach out to them with the Gospel.  I have been involved in evangelism since April 2010, I answered the call for the ministry when I was halfway through an IT degree.  The Yokohama area is where I have in my spirit for where I would be living at while also traveling around the country to both share the Gospel and also see different areas of Japan.  I have no clue how long I will be there other than long term and something that I have a desire for as well when i'm there is to pursue the purchasing of a house to live at in the Yokohama area.  The house would not only be for me to live in, but also for being able to host short term Christian missionary groups as well.  The time that I would be moving would be in the fall of 2019 from Minnesota to Japan.  I'm working on learning the Japanese language and also I'm working on getting out of debt and getting money saved as well. 
To get out of debt, currently, I'm driving uber, lyft, postmates and AmazonFlex, but I'm in the process as well of getting online income to be able to supersede my driving income.  The online income sources that I'm working to get going are shopify (link), eBay, eBid, Amazon, Online Auction, and also linkbank (link).  I'm working to get the online income to where it would be able to not only supersede driving, but it would also be able to make it to where I wouldn't need to be driving anymore for income and I could spend more time getting deepr in Scripture, learning Japanese and also being out on the streets more doing evangelism while I'm still here in the US.  I intend to also continue the online income sources overseas as well which would make it easier for me to travel around as GOD would make the way to do so.
My desire is to be able to see the Japanese population come to know Jesus as their personal LORD and Savior and then also be training up missionaries to send out to other countries in the 10/40 window and also to the western church and really all over the world to proclaim the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ!  Currently, Japan has only 2.2% of its population idenitifying with Christianity, while only .58% identity as evangelical, 91% of their population currently identifies between Bhuddism or Shinto. 
I have a passion to see the lost come to know Jesus as LORD and Savior, repenting of their old sinful lifestyles and embracing the Jesus of the Bible, not a made-up Jesus.  I strive to glorify GOD in everything that I do, say, and think and everything that I have belongs to GOD, and I am simply to be a faithful steward of all that He entrusts to me.
