My Travel Story

Hello everyone,
The reason that I am starting this fundraising is because I am dedicated to traveling and helping other cultures.
At the moment I am studying international business and I just came back from an half year living in South-America.
This has been an amazing experience, I even got a Colombian girlfriend now.

Together with her we went to the Amazones to the local tribes, we wanted to help them and make a difference.
We went with a boat to the local tribes and bought all kinds of products for them, Rice, cooking oil, bread, new clothes and we also brought footballs with us so that everyone could enjoy sports.
The feeling of appreciation that those people show is heart breaking, for us it is just a little effort but for them it means everything.
I even did some voluntary work at an eldery home, and it is sad to see that the people there are just sitting around doing nothing with no family.
With some money we can arrange activities for the elderly, roadtrips for the elderly to get them out there, and meet other people.
If I was an senior, I would love if someone did this for me.

This summer I want to go back and visit even more countries than before and support the local people, sadly I dont have that much money for it.
The people in Colombia/Mexico and in Latin America already suffered a lot from the drug wars that have happend in the past.
I want to help those people, assist them, guide them, bring some proper clothes or arrange a local free barbeque for people who cant afford a meal.
The people are so grateful if you help them, even if they have nothing they still want to repay you somehow, and this breaks my heart.
Nobody should be living on the streets, and I want to help them with as much as I can.
My girlfriend has the same mindset as me, I am thankfull that I met her.
So happy, that I am going to propose to her this summer.
