My Travel Story

Everyone has something they love doing - something worth studying; a career worth pursuing.

For me, that's animation.

I've been accepted to the University of Hertfordshire in England and their 2D Animation program. I have been excited to start this next chapter of my life for a while now, but in order to get there I now need a bit of help.

I have gotten a scholarship and applied for financial aid, but won't be able to access any funds until school is about to begin in September. That's why I'm asking for some financial help getting my Tier 4 Visa and flight to London.

Making a career out of animation has been my ambition since I was 10 and first saw the film "Spirited Away" by Studio Ghibli. I have the chance to fulfill that hope and could really use your help in this endeavor. Your contribution will go directly to helping me get to the University of Hertfordshire and continue my education.

    Last day in the USA!
SO, if the title didn't tip you off, I was able to buy my flight yesterday and I fly out in 6 hours(!!!) It's been an eventful couple of days...

I would not have been able to afford my visa nor my flight without the help of my parents and you all. You have helped me make a stressful and terrifying situation a little less stressful and terrifying. Everything to get me across the pond has worked out.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

    Halfway Done And Visa Approved!
I am so excited (and relieved) to announce that my visa has been approved. I'm mostly packed, so now it's just a matter of buying my plane ticket and waiting for my passport to return.

Laura, Diane, and my two anonymous donors: thank you for your support! I greatly appreciate your help at this stressful but exciting time. You're wonderful and I can't thank you (and all my other supporters) enough.
