My Travel Story

There are so many things we take for granted in this world with education being one of them. I have decided to pair with IVHQ to volunteer in Nairobi, Kenya next June for 4 weeks. I hope to go over there and make a difference even if it is only small. Going to Kenya is a once in a lifetime opportunity and it means the world to me that I can go there and help young children who need that little extra joy and hope. I will be doing the sports education program and hope to learn as much from them and their culture as I share mine. I chose Kenya as I have always wanted to go to Africa and kenya is a beautiful country filled with colour, joy wildlife and culture.
