My name is Aisha Qader and I am currently a junior studying psychology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

This upcoming winter break from December 29th 2016 - January 18th 2017 I will be off on a voyage embarking on a once in a lifetime experience to Germany.
For 3 weeks I will be taking a German language course and a seminar about the beautiful German culture while also participating in a variety of different excursions such as trips to Berlin and Frankfurt and additional extensive cultural programs.

I will be staying with a host family, which will prepare me to become a more well rounded individual while also getting a real experience of the German culture through their cultural activities, food, music and more.

Additionally, I will be arriving a few days earlier to go to Berlin, Germany and spend New Years there. This is going to be an amazing opportunity that will add value to my personal qualities and skills through the knowledge and experiences I will gain throughout the program.

I am very grateful of this opportunity. Unfortunately, financial aid does not cover study abroad trips during winter breaks. So I will technically pay the whole cost of this trip out of pocket. I cannot do this trip during the school year or semester because that would mean risking my position as an RA, which helps funds my education at UMASS Dartmouth enormously. Although this program may not seem too pricey, it will be a difficult process for my family and I to fund this trip without any assistance. Any contribution made in order to help further my education through this exchange program and make this experience possible would be tremendously helpful. I will be extremely grateful and genuinely appreciative. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your thoughts and donations. Evening if you are unable to help financially sharing my page gives me a great amount of support.
