Hi there,
I'm Alina, a German adventurer currently based in France but always on the road to explore & learn.

My current big project is my trip to Papua New Guinea in August / September 2023! I want to explore and learn about local tribal cultures and perform research -not only on the differences between Melanisian and European / Western culture- but especially on the many similarties such as basic ideologies we have! Also demonstrate that 'primitive' is the rather negative, often by Western cultures, used adjective to describe tribal cultures, including highland, river & coastal cultures. What is primitive? What can the Westerner learn from tribe members and their values/systems/ideology and meaning of life and community.

A colorful and adenturous and not 100% save journey which requires a lot of planning and organised tours and introductions to tribe chiefs / village chiefs by local guides, fuel for canoes, car & charter flight hires to remote areas and special travel equipment.

I'm currently 27, beginning my professional career and looking for financial support on my research trip. Happy to connect to share more insights.

Best,
Alina :)
