My Travel Story

Hello everyone
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out with deep humility to ask for your assistance during a very difficult time in my life.

In 2018, I came to the UK as an international student to pursue my degree at Aston University, a goal I was incredibly excited about. After years of hard work and dedication, I graduated in 2022 with the hope of building a stable future. However, along the way, I encountered several unexpected challenges that have made this journey far more difficult than I could have imagined.

Partway through my studies, my father, my primary financial supporter, lost his job. This unfortunate event drastically changed my circumstances. Without his financial backing, I had no choice but to start working as a bartender to support myself. I was able to cover some of my essential living expenses such as rent, bills, and groceries, but unfortunately, the wages weren’t enough to meet all my needs. To make ends meet, I was forced to take out loans I have since struggled to repay. Despite working as hard as I could, I have been living paycheck to paycheck without any real financial security or the ability to save for emergencies.

Now, I find myself in a very difficult situation. My graduate visa is set to expire on the 20th of September 2024, and I am required by law to leave the UK by that date. I am prepared to comply with this requirement and return to my home country, but I am currently facing a major obstacle: I do not have the financial means to afford my plane ticket back home, which costs £600. As my departure date draws closer, the stress of not being able to pay for my ticket has been overwhelming.

I am reaching out in the hope that you might be able to help me in this urgent time of need. Any financial assistance, no matter the amount, would mean the world to me and help me get back home to my family. I understand that everyone has their commitments, and even the smallest contribution would go a long way in easing my current financial burden.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this message. Your kindness and generosity would truly mean more than words can express.
