My Travel Story

I have an opportunity to study abroad in Russia during May 2022. Having the chance to observe how mental health and addiction are approached in a different country (culture) will impact how I approach my work once I graduate in July 2022. While in Russia, I will also be afforded chances to immerse myself in the history of Russia and how it has influenced psychological advances. For me, personally, my passion is in cognitive behavioral therapy. In Moscow, I would be able to visit Pavlov's (one of the original founders of operant conditioning theory) apartment and museum to study his work. In St. Petersburg, I will go to the museum of Vladimir Bekhterev (notable neurologist) who is considered the father of objective psychology.  I hope you will help me in achieving this goal!
