Welcome! Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Abby, I am a 20 year old Canadian Women who has always had a passion for rehabilitation and sustainable living. South Africa has been at the top of my list for as long as I can remember, and so I thought, instead of going to my destination expelling fuel into the atmosphere, why not neutrilise and reduce my carbon footprint by volunteering at Kwantu Reserve, travelling sustainably while making a true difference. My love for this earth has brought me to this incredible oppurtunity of helping the Big 5 (Giraffe, Rhino, Lion, Elephant, Leopord, buffalo and many more!) who are an endangered species get back on their feet. Throughout my time abroad I will help preserve this ecosystem by eliminating invasive species which will then in turn help the surrounding ecosystems, help keep the species safe, as well as learn about the Eastern Cape Culture. This project I hold close to my heart, as I truly feel the happiest when I am surrounded by diverse lifeforms in the wild. This planet has given so much to us, food, water, shelter, air as well as beauty, our mother earth deserves some much needed care, by investing in our planet you are indeed investing in your home. The Earth was here long before human kind, and it will be here long after.
