My Travel Story

The Ukwama Children's Home in Morogoro, Tanzania East Africa has been around since 1971 and Is in desperate need of assistance of all kind! there are currently a total of 94 kids and one adult who is pictured in the photo who takes care of them all with little to no assistance. The Ukwama Children's home is not government funded leaving the young children as little as 5 years old harvesting their own food and burying each other due to lack of resources. Currently, there are no teachers at the school which limits educational activities in addition to food, water, clothes, and heathcare.

Our Goal: Is to raise a minimum of 5,000 to help cover some of the cost for the below items:
Building repairs
Footwear (for all children)
Clothes
Blankets
Water
Food
Educational Supplies
Health Insurance for each child for the year ($5 USD each)

The Peace Project 4Us & Them2US Non Profit 501(c3) Organizations will arrive in Dar Es Salaam on November 7th, 2024 and will be taking available supplies to the orphanage on the 8th at 3am due to 8 hour drive. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

  • Building Project

    Building Project
    This is one of the building structures that need to be completed but, due to lack of funding, projects are not completed. The structure was started to extend the campus the children currently reside on. Part of this trip is looking into how best we can assist the orphanage with better living conditions for the children.
