Fuel Kendall's Journey to Law and Advocacy at Georgetown
My Travel Story
My name is Kendall and I am a sophomore in high school, an honors student, competitive cheerleader, choir member, and hold leadership positions within my organizations. I want to share exciting news and ask for your support as I pursue a major academic and career opportunity.
I am honored to share that I have been accepted into the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) Law and Advocacy Program at Georgetown University for Summer 2026. NSLC is a prestigious program that brings together high achieving students from across the country to learn directly from industry professionals, participate in hands-on leadership workshops, and explore real-world career pathways. The Law and Advocacy program specifically allows students to experience mock trials, legal simulations, college-level coursework, and mentorship from lawyers and legal scholars.
This opportunity means a great deal to me because my goal is to one day practice law. I am passionate about advocacy, leadership, and using my voice to make a difference. Being accepted into this program is a major step toward turning that dream into reality, and I am incredibly excited and grateful for the chance to learn, grow, and represent my community.
The cost of the program is $4400, not including travel to Washington D.C. transportation to Georgetown, and spending money. With that in mind, my goal is to raise $6,000. While I am working hard to earn what I can, I am reaching out to my community for help. If you are able, I would greatly appreciate any donation or sponsorship to support my participation in this once in a lifetime educational experience. No amount is too small, every contribution helps bring me one step closer to Georgetown University next summer.
Thank you so much for your generosity, encouragement, and belief in me. Your support means more than just funding a program, it is an investment in my future and my dream of entering the legal profession. I am grateful to have a community that supports my goals, and I'm excited to make you all proud.
With gratitude and excitement,
Kendall Hunter
