My Travel Story

Hi everyone!! My name is Grace Kellner and I am a student at East Tennessee State University with a major in Media and Communications and double minor in Marketing and Advertising. I am a part of the Roan Scholars Leadership Program where freshman get the opportunity to participate in a six to eight week summer of service project of their choice. I have been blessed to be accepted into  a volunteer program located in Split, Croatia where I will be assiting in personal development and educational support for underprivledged children, while also raising public awareness of environmental and social issues through content creation. I have always had a passion for helping children and addressing their disadvatanges through sources of public communication. I am incredibily excited and grateful for the chance to explore this hands-on and make a difference in the lives of others! I hope to come back with a life changing experience, many inspiring stories, more knowledge of the issues in the world and a drive to use it in my own community back home!
